Most of us think about part-time allocations the HR way - 50% here, 50% there, eight hours a day divided equally across projects.
But of course, my friend, in practice that math never works!
Especially when you're handling multiple projects as a business analyst.

My two hours of focused work in the morning, when I'm most fresh and energized, are absolutely not the same as those two hours at 3 p.m., when I'm already thinking about wrapping up my day.
And I bet, same works for you!
Put the most critical work in the morning
I try to tackle the most critical, the most important things in the morning - when I'm fresh and energized. The work that genuinely drives me? Same rule. I protect those morning slots on days where I don't have meetings stacked back to back.
Something more mechanical - let's say status calls - I tackle in the afternoon.
Oftentimes, I simply accomplish more based on enthusiasm alone.
Protect that time across multiple projects as a business analyst
